Today Year 2 were excited to finally meet Samuel Pepys who they had been learning about since the start of this term.
We prepared some questions for him and were able to ask him so that we could learn more about his life. He was very impressed with all our knowledge that we already knew about the Great Fire of London! We learned all about his quill, why he buried his wine, cheese and papers and he told us about working for the king.
The children loved wowing him about how life has changed since 1666 and how different London is now thanks to the Great Fire of London.
