Year 1 had a fabulous trip to Bournemouth last week. The weather was kind to us and although we had some cloud, the day was pleasant and warm enough to get our jumper, shoes and socks off and enjoy the sea around our toes! We had a great time on the beach looking for shells, digging holes, building sandcastles and paddling. All of the children found the Oceanarium extremely interesting and we saw lots of the sea creatures that we have been learning about already. We even got to see and touch some artifacts such as shark skin, a turtle shell and sting ray eggs! I’m sure the highlight for lots of the children will be the ice lolly we enjoyed at the end of the day! The children were beautifully behaved and represented the Infant School perfectly. All of the teachers and helpers were extremely proud of the children for their good manners and sensible behaviour. We hope you enjoy browsing the pictures!
