Year 1 had a great day out on Tuesday during their trip to Testwood Lakes. The weather was glorious and we were able to do lots of learning about minibeasts. We had so much fun doing activities such as pond dipping, identifying pond wildlife, minibeast hunting in the meadows and looking at worms in a wormery and learning about the important job that they do. The children did us proud and took the long walk there and back in the heat in their stride! The trip has given us lots to talk and write about since being back at school. A big thank you to all the parents who helped on the trip and those who helped with the walk there and back. Enjoy the photos!
